Yoga:

Are you interested in strengthening not only your body, but attuning your mind and heart to the rhythm of life?  

To me,  Yoga is Integration. This means that I emphasize the importance of the interconnection of self and all life that surrounds us. During the warmer months, you can find me teaching classes outside and in nature.

At a young age, I was exposed to Sivananda Yoga by my mother, and I have continued my studies ever since.  I studied in the Ishta style, which was developed by Allan Finger, for several years. In 2007, I received Kundalini Yoga certification, and later in 2012, I received certification in interdisciplinary yoga through the Nosara Yoga Institute.  

My classes are a space for both mindfulness and fun.  I aim to incorporate curiosity, play, depth, and a variety of movements and breathwork.

Private Classes or Group Sessions:

I'm also available for private or group yoga training. This is perfect if you'd like a yoga instructor in your living room, or if you want to host a yoga class for your entire office or club.

Freestyle Yoga Class Level 2  

Thursdays - 12:30pm-1:30pm at Island Health and Fitness  A synthesis of vinyasa (flow yoga), qigong, and other movement forms to empower the student to engage and play with their strength and flexibility.

Yoga Unwind Levels 1&2

Mondays 5:30-6:45 at Island Health and Fitness combination of stretching and strengthening to unwind every joint of the body and release stress and heaviness in the mind and heart.
